About this role
Coordinates and provides accurate, consistent treatment procedures as ordered by the residents attending physician and to monitor current practices and procedures within the facility. These duties should be in accordance with current applicable federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations, and as may be directed by the Administrator and or the Director of Nursing to assure that the highest degree of quality resident care and safety can be maintained at all times. Essential duties include documenting the resident's condition and nursing needs, accurately and promptly implementing physicians' orders, weekly skin audits on all residents, weekly documentation on wound care log and nurses notes to include measurements, treatments and response to treatment, and assigning nursing care to team members in accordance with the resident's needs and the person's capabilities and qualifications.
