About this role

Inova Primary Care is looking for a dedicated Outpatient Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join the team. This role will be full time day position, Monday – Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm.

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Job

Responsibilities

Provides direct patient care utilizing the nursing process under the direction and supervision of the RN. Maintains and reviews patient medical records, notes and physician orders while documenting all patient care activities in accordance with documentation standards. Participates on unit teams, work groups and/or committees. Participates in quality and performance improvement initiatives. Performs other duties as assigned.

Vocational / Technical Diploma in Practical Nursing License: Licensed Practical Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia

Experience

Certification

BLS from the American Heart Association.

Preferred

Qualifications

1 year of experience as an LPN or Medical Assistant
