Registered Nurse

This position is not assigned to one permanent unit or hall. The expectation is that the Float RN will work when and where they are needed to support the campus and ensure safe, quality resident care. This position comes with a $10,000 sign on bonus.

*Float Responsibilities*

• Work on various units and shifts as assigned according to campus staffing needs.
• Adapt quickly to different resident populations, assignments, routines, and nursing teams.
• Provide coverage for scheduled staffing shortages, vacations, leave, increased census, and other operational needs.
• Assist other nursing staff when appropriate and when workload permits.
• Communicate effectively with CNAs, nurses, providers, therapy, dietary, activities, social services, and other departments.
• Maintain professionalism and a positive attitude when moving between assignments.
• Be willing to learn and follow the specific routines and expectations of each area of the campus.

*Leadership & Supervision*

• Provide direction and supervision to CNAs and other nursing personnel as appropriate.
• Promote teamwork and effective communication among nursing staff.
• Provide guidance and support to staff members when questions or concerns arise.
• Assist with staff education and competency development as assigned.
• Address resident-care concerns promptly and communicate concerns to the appropriate leadership team member.
• Serve as a positive role model for nursing practice, professionalism, and resident-centered care.

*Documentation & Regulatory Compliance*

• Complete accurate and timely nursing documentation.
• Maintain required medical records and electronic documentation.
• Follow state and federal regulations governing long-term care and assisted living.
• Follow Hillcrest Living policies and procedures.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, audits, and QAPI activities as assigned.
• Complete required assessments, incident reports, care-plan documentation, and other required documentation.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident, employee, and organizational information.

Pay: $34.75 - $45.00 per hour
