Louisville rewards nurses who pick the right block. Walk Bardstown Road through The Highlands for nightlife, eclectic shops, median age 34.4. Frankfort Avenue in Clifton strings together trendy shotgun houses. Housing stretches further than Nashville or Austin. You'll need a car, summers are brutally hot and humid, and Cherokee Triangle pairs walkability to Cherokee Park with safety—at a premium.
