Circulating nurses are essential members of any healthcare team. They are responsible for maintaining a safe and sterile environment throughout the surgical procedure and providing care to patients before, during, and after surgery. The role of circulating nurse is multi-faceted and requires critical thinking, excellent communication, and clinical judgement.

Requirements

RN License
BLS Certification
ACLS Certification
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
Minimum 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience
Operating room or surgical nursing experience preferred
1 year circulating nursing experience in a hospital or ASC preferred
Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
