About this role

Public Health Registered Nurse for the Walton County Health Department within the Northeast Health District of the Georgia Department of Public Health. Provides professional nursing care across multiple public health programs including immunizations, WIC, Family Planning, Women's Health, Diabetes, Hypertension, STD, and TB. Responsibilities include assessing patients, developing care plans, administering treatments, providing patient education, maintaining electronic health records, coordinating referrals, and participating in community outreach. Travel to other health departments or clinics within District 10 may be required.

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Associate's degree in nursing from an accredited college or university AND completion of a PHN course within one year of hire AND current Georgia Registered Professional Nurse license AND CPR certification. Note: No experience required.
