As our Staff Nurse, you will be a pivotal healthcare professional, delivering compassionate, high-quality care that truly impacts our patients' well-being and recovery. Every day, you will leverage your expertise to provide individualized, comprehensive care, making critical assessments, performing skilled procedures, and meticulously implementing patient care plans. You'll collaborate seamlessly within an interdisciplinary team, contributing to a dynamic environment focused on optimal patient outcomes. Ensures a professional and responsive atmosphere by greeting patients, visitors, staff, and physicians promptly and courteously. Performs initial assessment utilizing professional nursing knowledge and skills. Analyzes patient related data, such as vital signs, past medical history, physical exam findings, laboratory values and other information. Provides health education and teaching to patient, family and significant others. Plans nursing care based on priority of physical and psychosocial emotional needs. Implements the plan of care including prescribed procedures and treatments.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
- One to two years clinical nursing experience (waived for newly graduated nurses selected for a New Grad Orientation program)
- Registered Nurse: CA license, upon hire
- Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (preferred)
