About this role
First Choice Homecare Agency is seeking a compassionate and experienced RN/LPN to provide one-on-one pediatric skilled nursing care in the client’s home.
Schedule
(Schedule may vary some weeks)
- Mon-Wednesday: 2:00PM -11:30PM
- Friday: 12:00PM - 12:00AM
- Sunday: 6:00AM - 3:30PM
Responsibilities
Follow the individualized care plan, including
Vital signs & assessments: Monitor for respiratory distress, tachycardia/fever, abdominal distention, and thromboembolic signs. TPN management: Daily infusion (1476 ml over 10 hours with taper); ensure sterile handling, line flushes, and safety protocols. CVAD site care: Sterile dressing changes PRN; monitor for infection and catheter integrity.
Mobility/positioning: Assist ROM; reposition q2h; encourage safe mobility to prevent contractures. Elimination support: Diaper changes q3h or as needed. Infection prevention: Strict hand hygiene and sterile technique at all times.
Qualifications Active Georgia LPN license Pediatric skilled experience preferred (TPN & CVAD competency ideal) Strong assessment, sterile technique, and infectioncontrol skills Reliable, compassionate, and familycentered communicator
