About this role

Registered Nurse (RN) – Radiology at Atrium Health's Carolinas Medical Center. The Radiology Department is a specialized procedural area that provides expert care for patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional imaging. The department includes four Interventional Radiology suites and 15 pre/post-procedure bays, where nurses manage patient preparation, moderate sedation, and recovery for a wide range of procedures. Radiology nurses also oversee care across multiple modalities including CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Diagnostic X-ray, Nuclear Medicine, and PET. 3 12-hour shifts Monday-Saturday (rotating days) 0700-1930. No call.

Requirements

  • RN
  • Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
  • At least 6 months of RN experience (not for new graduates)
  • Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
  • ACLS required within 6 months of hire
