Registered Nurse II - PICU

The Registered Nurse (RN) is accountable for providing competent nursing care. Responsible for coordination of the patient's plan of care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing interventions that lead to established outcomes. This position practices under the direction of the designated nurse executive, within the scope of the Nursing Practice Act, and in accordance with Valley Children's Hospital policies. The PICU has 42 beds, is part of a level 2 trauma center, and handles high acuity patients including cardiac (30%), neuroscience (30%), and acutely ill (40%).
