Responsibilities
General Purpose: In an inpatient setting, remains accountable for provision of direct care to assigned patients. Contributes to unit activities and supports enhancement of the care delivery system. Works as a team member and assists other staff members with implementing patient care. Assumes responsibility of care for assigned patients under the direction of the co-assigned RN or MD. Participates in the plan of care, implements appropriate nursing interventions, and contributes to patient/family education through collection of data, interdisciplinary team collaboration, documentation and excellent communication.
FT positions available 36 Hours
In conjunction with RN team provide direct patient care to moderate-high risk antepartum and post-partum women; as well as women experiencing gynecologic surgery. Commitment to customer focused, family centered care with strong emphasis on patient/family teaching. In addition to good clinical competence must possess good interpersonal skills, strong prioritization and organizational skills.
