About this role
The Jacksonville office of Wicker Smith is currently seeking an Experienced Nurse Consultant. This individual will assist attorneys by providing nursing support services on complex legal files. Essential duties include reviewing and organizing medical records, analyzing medical records to evaluate care, retaining and coordinating with medical experts, and drafting medical summaries and letters summarizing expert opinions.

Requirements
- Nursing degree (recommended but not necessary)
- Prior nurse consultant litigation experience (recommended but not necessary)
- Practical experience working in hospital, nursing home, or as House Physician, Hospitalist, or Physician's Assistant
- Prior law firm consulting experience preferred
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office
- Excellent organizational skills including ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple tasks
- Ability to work with and maintain confidential information
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
