Responsibilities
Coordinate and provide nursing care and services including
- Nurse delegation per OSBN
- Complete resident health assessments
- Monitoring of resident overall health
- Communication with physicians and outside providers
- Investigation of injuries involving residents or staff
- Tracking and auditing of medication and treatment orders
- Part of service planning team
- Coordination of resident care
- Participate in care conferences
- Participate and direct quality assurance investigations
- Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements
- Participate in in-service presentations and staff meetings
- Communicate with state and assist in surveys
- Help foster a positive team attitude in the community
- Anything that helps staff coordinate consistent, quality care and service in the facility. Other items as requested by the Administrator and/or anything else that is needed to keep the facility operating smoothly.

- Understanding of state and federal regulations
- Good computer skills
- Ability to lift, push or pull 35 pounds, up to 30 times per shift
- Ability to bend, twist, stoop, kneel, and reach
- Commitment to the safe practices, infection control, residents’ rights
- Strong communication skills and congenial personality
