Position Title

General Summary

Under general supervision, provides preventative and health care to an assigned group of patients or clients in the OU Health facility.

Essential Responsibilities

Responsibilities listed in this section are core to the position. Inability to perform these responsibilities with or without an accommodation may result in disqualification from the position.

Assists with the nursing assessment through data collection, observation, and obtainment of vital signs on assigned patients or clients.

Provide s care according to an established nursing plan.

Observe s changes in patient’s condition and notify supervisory personnel if significant changes occur.

Provide s routine ostomy care, nasogastric tube placement and feeding and placement , and discontinuing of oral-gastric tube. Initiates and monitor s oxygen therapy according to physician orders or unit protocol .
