Youth Opportunity is a nationally recognized leader in residential and behavioral health treatment for at-risk youth. Crestview Youth Academy in Crestview, Florida, is a secure Youth Academy serving males ages 13 to 17, delivering trauma-informed care across mental health and substance abuse needs. The program combines clinical therapy, education, restorative justice, therapeutic recreation, and life skills training.
Youth typically remain in care based on individualized goals, participating in individual, family, and group therapy; victim impact awareness; vocational and pre-vocational preparation; and enrichment activities such as art, music, and recreation. Small group living units and licensed dietitian-managed meals support emotional stabilization and reintegration planning.

We are hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team in Crestview, FL. LPN Responsibilities
- Administer medications and monitor for reactions or side effects
- Conduct intake physical health assessments and screenings
- Document medical histories and maintain accurate health records
- Provide basic first aid and support emergency medical situations
- Collaborate with doctors, nurse practitioners, and behavioral health staff
- Communicate with guardians, case managers, and outside agencies
- Ensure compliance with state health regulations and treatment protocols
Required Qualifications
- Active LPN license in Florida
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to pass background check and drug screen
- Strong clinical judgment and organizational skills
- Willingness to work with youth in challenging situations
Preferred Experience
- 1+ years working in behavioral health, pediatrics, or juvenile residential care
- Experience with trauma-informed care and crisis intervention
- Familiarity with EMR systems and documentation standards
Other Requirements
Physical Demands: Ability to lift/move up to 20 pounds and provide necessary physical services to clients. Must be free of communicable diseases as defined by the state and to the extent that knowledge is attainable under the law. Must be able to transport clients.
Other: Must maintain an appropriate and valid state driver’s license. Must meet state criminal background check requirements.
