About this role
We are seeking a dedicated person join our 24-hour residential program for young men (ages 13-35) recovering from substance abuse. As a Registered Nurse, you will be a vital member of our integrated clinical team, responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered nursing care. You will work directly with individuals in various stages of recovery, helping them navigate withdrawal, manage medications, and build a foundation for a healthier future.
Responsibilities include monitoring and recording vital signs, dispensing medications as directed by PMHNP, assisting PMHNP during follow-ups and new consults, organizing and executing treatment plans, maintaining accurate patient records, and serving as intermediary for patient communication. Hours: Monday to Sunday 8:00AM to 12:00PM. Salary: $35/hour.

Requirements
- RN
- Bachelor's degree (BSN), Associate's degree (ADN), or completion of an accredited nursing program
- Current, active, and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Florida
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
- CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) or equivalent de-escalation training
- Prior experience in psychiatric, mental health, behavioral health, or substance abuse treatment settings highly preferred
- Familiarity with EMR systems
- Exceptional clinical assessment, critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills
