Job Summary and Qualifications

As a Registered Nurse on the Progressive Care Unit, you will be joining a team of professionals who are dedicated to deliver excellent care to our patients. You will enable patients to reach their goals through care specifically designed to cater to individual patient needs, and also administered by some of the most highly skilled and trained providers in the Rocky Mountain region.

What you will do in this role

  • Oversee and direct the care of the patient.
  • Responsible for the care of medical and surgical patients.
  • Serve as primary nurse leading the collaboration of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
  • Oversee and direct the care of assistive personnel, maintaining final accountability for the care given to assigned patients.
  • Within the first year the RN will have gained basic clinical knowledge and skills of caring for cardiovascular patients.

Requirements

Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse, or current active multistate Registered Nurse license.

  • Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association or ARC. ACLS provider card required within the first 12 months of hire, AHA or ARC.
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. BSN Preferred.
  • One year experience in acute care preferred.
