Your New Role

Perform diagnostics, maintenance, service, repair, and replacement of commercial refrigeration equipment in Oak Ridge, New Jersey, and throughout Northern and Central New Jersey

Troubleshoot and repair walk-in coolers, walk-in freezers, reach-in coolers, reach-in freezers, and ice machines

Complete commercial refrigeration installations and equipment replacements

Service commercial HVAC systems including rooftop units, split systems, heat systems, ductless systems, VAV systems, and VRV systems as needed

Identify root causes of equipment failures and implement effective repair solutions

Perform preventative maintenance inspections and recommend corrective actions

Maintain accurate service records and clearly communicate findings with customers and management

Deliver professional customer service while representing Climate Care in the field

Follow all safety standards, refrigeration regulations, and industry best practices

Participate in the on-call rotation and respond to emergency service needs when scheduled

6+ years of commercial refrigeration service experience preferred

Strong experience troubleshooting, servicing, repairing, and replacing commercial refrigeration systems

Knowledge of commercial HVAC systems such as rooftop units and split systems is preferred

Experience working on walk-in coolers, walk-in freezers, reach-in refrigeration equipment, and ice machines

Knowledge of commercial HVAC systems, controls, compressors, condensers, evaporators, and mechanical components

EPA Type I, II, and III Certification required

Valid driver's license required

Ability to work independently with minimal training or supervision

Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills

Ability to manage service calls efficiently and maintain professionalism with customers

Ability to lift equipment and materials required for the position

Ability to work in mechanical rooms, on rooftops, and in commercial environments

Vocational training preferred

Demonstrated reliability, accountability, and professionalism through previous work experience
