- Approximately 30 patients per 24 hours
- EM-boarded physicians on site 24/7

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week contract opportunity in Sweetwater, TX. The ER RN will provide safe, efficient, and compassionate emergency care to patients in a fast-paced hospital setting.
The ideal candidate will have recent hospital-based Emergency Room experience and be comfortable caring for a variety of emergency and acute-care patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department.
- Perform patient assessments, triage, monitoring, and reassessments.
- Administer medications and treatments according to provider orders and hospital protocols.
- Recognize changes in patient condition and respond appropriately to emergencies.
- Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
- Follow hospital policies, infection-control standards, and patient-safety protocols.
- Provide patient and family education and support.
- Assist with emergency procedures and maintain readiness for critical situations.
- Provide professional and compassionate care in a fast-paced ER environment.
- Participate in required holiday coverage.
Minimum Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited RN program .
- Active Texas RN license or Compact RN license .
- Minimum 1+ year of recent Emergency Room RN experience in a hospital setting .
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required.
- Strong clinical assessment, critical-thinking, and emergency-care skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
