We are a reputable healthcare provider dedicated to delivering exceptional medical services to the incarcerated population at the Vandeburgh County Jail. We are currently seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to support our healthcare team and ensure the highest standards of patient care in our specialized healthcare environment.

  • Current licensure as a registered nurse in the state of Indiana.
  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a specialized healthcare environment.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
  • Proficiency in medical equipment and software.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information with discretion.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assess and develop nursing care plans for patients.
  • Administer medications, perform wound care, and monitor patient vital signs.
  • Provide direct patient care, including education and counseling.
  • Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to provide exceptional patient care.
  • Oversee the work of licensed practical nurses (LPNs) and certified nursing assistants (CNAs).
  • Manage patient caseloads and ensure that all aspects of patient care are met.

Job Type: Full-time Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour
