About this role
Registered Nurse position at New York Cancer & Blood Specialists (NYCBS) in Yorktown, NY. Administers chemotherapeutic and biologic agents, monitors patient status during chemotherapy and immunotherapy, participates in cancer research trials, and provides patient education. Full-time, 5/8.5 hour shifts, Mon-Fri 8:30am-5pm.

Requirements
- Valid New York State RN License
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Excellent assessment, communication, and organizational skills
- Proficiency with an EMR (preferred)
- Knowledge of standard precautions and ability to utilize appropriate PPE when administering cytotoxic agents and handling bloodborne pathogens and bodily fluids
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times
- Reliable transportation to travel to NYCBS locations for patient care needs
