As an ER Registered Nurse , you will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in a fast-paced, collaborative environment while working alongside skilled physicians and healthcare professionals.

Our Emergency Department is open 24/7 and is part of a Level III Trauma Center and designated Stroke Center, offering advanced emergency care close to home. A Registered Nurse who excels in this role

Performs plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care activities. Documents patient care provided. Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition to the care team, physician, patient, and family.

Assists patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation. Collaborates across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and psychosocial/spiritual support needs. Evaluates patient and family learning needs and provides appropriate education based on age, culture, condition, and circumstances.

Advocates for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient. Participates in performance improvement and continuing education. Provides quality patient care and works flexible shifts or units as needed.

Additional requirements include:

Certifications

BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC Required Licenses: Must have a current state or compact state RN license.

Education
