About this role
Kindred Hospital Indianapolis is a 59-bed long-term acute care hospital offering in-depth care for an extended recovery period. Provides planning and delivery of direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process of Assessment, Planning, Intervention, and Evaluation. Develops nursing care plans in coordination with patient, family and interdisciplinary staff.
Maintains standards of nursing care, directs and supervises nursing care provided to patients, administers medications, performs patient assessments, assists physicians with examinations and procedures, and participates in discharge planning. Requires postsecondary certificate, diploma, or program graduation from an accredited school of nursing. RN State Licensure and BCLS required upon hire.
ACLS preferred. Six months of Medical/Surgical nursing experience in an acute care setting preferred.
