About this role
Maxim Healthcare in Portland is hiring for passionate registered nurses (RN) to work with patients in their own homes. We are looking for both day shift and night shift nurses to provide long-term care for our medically complex patients. Maxim Healthcare provides comprehensive, paid training for all nurses to ensure they feel fully prepared and confident in their skills before they ever enter a patients home.
We currently have pediatric and adult patients on our census that are in-need of one-on-one nursing care. Responsibilities include utilizing the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, initiating plan of care, incorporating therapeutic, preventive, and rehabilitative nursing actions, administering medications and treatments as prescribed, and reviewing plan of care for healthcare teaching, care coordination, goal setting and discharge planning.

Requirements
- RN
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) License for the state in which the nurse practices
- Current Health Certificate (per facility Registered Nurse (RN) contract or state regulation)
- Current PPD or Chest X-Ray
- Current BLS card
- One year prior Registered Nurse (RN) experience preferred
