Responsibilities
- Nursing Department Oversight: Lead and manage the nursing department, ensuring all programs and practices meet strict healthcare standards and regulations.
- Protocol Development and Maintenance: Create, update, and maintain nursing protocols and procedural documentation to align with best practices and regulatory requirements. Including insulin delegations.
- Represent Facility During Inspections: Serve as the facility's primary representative during government agency inspections and surveys, ensuring compliance with all necessary regulations.
- Staffing Coordination: Assess and identify staffing needs to ensure comprehensive nursing care is consistently provided to residents.
- Performance Evaluation: Lead the performance evaluation process, fostering a culture of accountability, professional growth, and high-quality care within the nursing team.

Requirements
A Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university.
Experience
Preferably at least three years of supervisory experience in an assisted living community based care facility. Preferred minimum of six months of experience in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices.
- Licensing: Active, unencumbered RN license in the state of employment.
- Interpersonal
Skills
Strong ability to engage effectively with individuals at all levels, including staff, residents, family members, and government agencies, with professionalism and respect.
