About this role
Role: Provides professional nursing care to ensure patient comfort and well-being, assisting physicians during examinations and treatments.
Responsibilities
Prepare equipment, administer medications, change dressings, monitor vital signs, and document patient care, condition, reactions, and progress. Leadership: Participate as a team member or leader in planning and executing patient care; offer guidance to support staff. Procedures: Ensure safe aseptic techniques and procedures are followed. Perform additional assignments as needed.
Qualifications & Skills
Graduate of an accredited nursing school with the ability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care. Minimum of 2 years of RN experience. Current Louisiana State RN license, BLS certification, and ACLS certification within 30 days; PALS preferred. SAMA certification required.
