Employment Type: Part time Shift: 12 Hour Day Shift Description: Position Purpose: TheRegistered Nurse – Med/Surgworks in a collaborative environment atNazareth Hospitalto deliver excellent patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team providingevidence-based medicine and individualized patient care. A Registered Nurseis expected tofacilitate all aspects of the patient visit experience. What you will do: • Employment Type/Shift: Per Diem Days • Under limited supervision, the Registered Nurseis responsible for assessing patients, including developing, evaluating, andmodifying the care plan. The RN interprets and performs complex patient-care procedures specific to theirexpertise. • RNs are members of the Care Team and Support Team and have accountability to function as a team toaccomplish patient outcomesidentified in the pathway/plan of care. • The Registered Nurse is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for the care given to a group of patients for a designatedtime frame. • The RN provides care to those patients via therapeutic use of self, the nursing process, the environment/technology, and other healthcare team members, according to established standards. • Patients served include all age groups (Infant through OlderAdults asidentified in Performance Standards). Minimum Qualifications: • Graduatefrom an accredited nursingprogram approved; BSNpreferred • Current Registered Nurse license bythePennsylvaniaState Board of Nursing or Compact Staterequired. • Prior relevant experience in an acute care setting preferred. • Certifications aligned with area of responsibility; Minimum of BLSrequired.
