About this role
Position
Overview
An LPN dispenses prescribed doses of methadone to patients on an assigned shift and maintains complete, accurate records in accordance with performance standards for drug & alcohol treatments programs and agency policy. The duties include:
Administer methadone doses to patients and monitor the behavior of patients at the dispensing station. Maintain accurate narcotic records; prepare new methadone orders per physician request. Prepare take-home medication bottles & record information Ensure pharmacy area is clean and medications are secured in the safe at end of medication dispensing. Schedule patient physical examinations for physicians. Complete all position medication orders accurately a & timely, assist clinic physicians with physical examinations. File or document appropriate patient records in medical chart/EHR. Review all medical charts for content compliance.
