Position
The Registered Nurse’s (RN) primary job function is to oversee all aspects of the health and medical needs of individuals with developmental disabilities. The Registered Nurse is a hourly position.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Possess and maintain a valid California Registered Nursing license; Bachelors of Nursing preferred.
- Must pass and maintain a criminal history background clearance from the Department of Justice.
- Must meet health condition screening requirements to perform type of work required and pass a TB test, per California Health
- and Human Services Agency (LIC 503).
- Ability to effectively communicate in the spoken and written English language and demonstrate good writing skills (legibility
- spelling, grammar).
- Must meet and maintain all Company, State and Regional Center training requirements and certifications, including but not
- limited to CPI Nonviolent Crisis Intervention training, First Aid, CPR and Medication Training.
- Must provide proof of employment authorization and identity within three days of being hired.
- Must be able to lift minimum of 50 lbs.
- Must possess valid CA driver license and maintain current automobile liability insurance.
- Must maintain a clean driving record (No more than 3 traffic violations in a 3-year period excluding parking tickets).
