About this role

Position Overview

VitaMed LA is seeking an experienced, personable, and wellness-oriented Registered Nurse to join our concierge mobile IV therapy team. This role involves traveling to patients' homes, offices, hotels, and events throughout Los Angeles to provide premium IV vitamin therapy, wellness injections, and supportive treatments.

Our clientele consists of health-conscious professionals, busy parents, athletes, executives, travelers, and individuals focused on longevity, performance, recovery, and preventative wellness. We are looking for a nurse who is confident working independently, provides exceptional customer service, and is passionate about helping patients optimize their health.

  • Travel to patient locations throughout Los Angeles and surrounding areas to administer IV vitamin infusions and wellness treatments.
  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including health history review, medication reconciliation, contraindication screening, and vital signs.
  • Establish and maintain peripheral IV access safely and efficiently.
  • Administer physician-approved IV vitamin therapies, hydration treatments, antioxidants, nutrient blends, and wellness injections.
  • Monitor patients throughout treatment and manage any infusion-related reactions or concerns.
  • Educate patients on treatment benefits, expected outcomes, hydration, recovery, and wellness recommendations.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record system.
  • Communicate effectively with supervising providers regarding patient care, treatment modifications, and clinical concerns.
  • Manage inventory, supplies, and medication storage according to company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Represent the VitaMed LA brand with professionalism, warmth, discretion, and outstanding bedside manner.

Ideal Candidate

  • Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
  • Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred.
  • Strong IV insertion and venipuncture skills required.
  • Experience in concierge medicine, wellness, aesthetics, infusion therapy, emergency medicine, urgent care, critical care, or mobile healthcare is a plus.
  • Comfortable working independently and traveling throughout Los Angeles.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Professional appearance and polished communication style.
  • Passion for wellness, preventative health, longevity medicine, nutrition, and patient education.
  • Reliable transportation and valid California driver's license.
