Seeking Floating Nurse Auditor to support multiple NJ locations

The Nurse Auditor (LPN/RN) is responsible for reviewing clinical documentation to ensure accuracy, compliance, and quality of care standards. The ideal candidate maintains strong attention to detail while adapting to various patient care environments.

Auditing & Compliance

  • Review patient medical records for completeness, accuracy, and regulatory compliance
  • Ensure documentation meets federal, state, and facility guidelines
  • Identify discrepancies, missing information, or potential billing/coding issues
  • Collaborate with clinical staff to correct documentation errors
  • Assist with internal audits, surveys, and quality improvement initiatives
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of healthcare regulations and standards

## Preferred

Qualifications

  • Previous auditing, quality assurance, or compliance experience
  • Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems, specifically Point Click Care
  • Certification in healthcare quality or auditing (optional)
