Little Sisters of the Poor – Sacred Heart Residence is seeking a PRN Registered Nurse (RN) to join our nursing team on all shifts. As a faith-based, non-profit organization, we are dedicated to providing exceptional, person-centered care while honoring the dignity and worth of every resident.

What You'll Do
As a PRN RN, you will provide high-quality nursing care and support residents by:
Assessing residents and monitoring changes in their condition. Administering medications and treatments safely and accurately. Responding to resident needs and emergency situations.
Communicating with physicians, families, and the interdisciplinary care team. Supervising and supporting Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs). Maintaining accurate electronic medical records and documentation.
Assisting with care planning and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. Promoting a culture of compassion, dignity, and person-centered care. Qualifications Required Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Alabama.
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing. Current BLS/CPR Certification for Healthcare Providers. Strong assessment, clinical, and critical thinking skills.
Excellent communication and leadership abilities. Basic computer proficiency, including electronic medical records. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative healthcare team.
Preferred One (1) year of nursing experience. Experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, geriatrics, or behavioral health. Schedule
PRN (As Needed)
Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM Evening Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM Night Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM Flexible scheduling based on staffing needs. Great opportunity for nurses seeking supplemental income or a flexible work schedule. Why Join Sacred Heart Residence?

This position requires the ability to stand, walk, lift, transfer residents with appropriate equipment, respond to emergencies, and perform essential nursing duties in a long-term care environment.
