Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced *Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN)* for a 13-week contract assignment in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. The ideal candidate will have recent Operating Room experience and be committed to providing exceptional patient care in a fast-paced surgical environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care before, during, and after surgical procedures.
- Circulate in the operating room while maintaining a safe and sterile environment.
- Prepare surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment for procedures.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other members of the surgical team.
- Monitor patients throughout surgical procedures and document care accurately using EPIC EMR.
- Follow infection control, safety, and hospital policies.
- Participate in weekday, weekend, and holiday on-call rotations as required.
Requirements
- Active Nebraska RN License or Compact RN License.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent Operating Room RN experience.
- Experience as an OR Circulating Nurse.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Experience with EPIC EMR preferred.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including on-call assignments.
- Holiday coverage required.
Pay: $70.00 - $75.00 per hour
