About this role
Unity House is dedicated to improving the lives of individuals in our community, and our Supportive Housing Program is seeking a compassionate and skilled Mental Health RN to join our team. This position provides integrated health management and nursing support services to individuals living in supportive housing programs who are experiencing Serious Mental Illness (SMI) and/or have been impacted by Domestic Violence (DV). The Mental Health RN plays a vital role in promoting physical and behavioral health wellness, supporting individuals in managing chronic health conditions, and helping participants navigate and access community-based healthcare resources.
Requirements
- Current, unrestricted NYS Registered Nurse (RN) License
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working in mental health, substance use, supportive housing, or community-based settings
- Experience working with individuals living with Serious Mental Illness (SMI) and/or survivors of Domestic Violence preferred
- Valid NYS driver's license and reliable vehicle
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Proficiency with computers and electronic documentation
