RN, OT, PT, SLP Clinical Support Specialist Organization: Marquis Certified Home Health Agency (CHHA) Department: Clinical Operations Reports To: Director of Patient Services FLSA Status: Exempt Position Summary The Clinical Support Specialist serves as a clinical resource and operational support partner for Marquis Certified Home Health Care (CHHA) clinicians, providing expertise to ensure the delivery of high-quality, compliant, patient-centered home health services. This position supports clinicians and leadership through clinical oversight, workflow processing, quality assurance activities, staff education, documentation review, regulatory compliance monitoring, and process improvement initiatives. You'll be the 'in-box ninja' of the organization, ensuring that everything that comes after the patient visit is smooth and seamless. The Clinical Support Specialist must be a licensed Registered Nurse (RN), Physical Therapist (PT), Occupational Therapist (OT) or Speech Therapy (SLP) with home health experience and a strong understanding of state, federal, and CHHA regulations and standards.

Requirements

Current and unrestricted New York State license as RN, PT, OT, or SLP; Graduate of an accredited nursing, physical therapy, speech language therapy or occupational therapy program; Minimum of three (3) years of clinical experience in designated specialty; 1 or more years of experience in home health care preferred; Prior experience in quality assurance, clinical education, care management, utilization review, or supervisory roles preferred; Strong knowledge of Medicare home health regulations, OASIS requirements, and home health documentation standards; Proficiency with EMR systems and Microsoft Office; Ability to travel throughout the agency service area; Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25 pounds; Weekends as needed; Evenings as needed
