BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience within the last 7 years required Minimum 2 years of IMC experience required At least one completed travel assignment required Cerner EMR experience required Must pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum 80% overall score and 100% on lethal rhythms Two supervisory references required, including one from the most recent assignment References must support at least 2 years of experience within the previous 3 years Additional Information Provide critical care nursing to ICU and IMC patients, including cardiac monitoring, ventilator care, and management of vasoactive drips Skills utilized include central line and PICC line management, ABG interpretation, tracheostomy care, and wound care Cardiovascular care experience including post cardiac angiogram, pre/post cardiac cath, and cardiac drip management No RTO permitted during the first two weeks of the assignment Maximum of 7 days RTO permitted per 13-week contract Local candidates within a 60-mile radius accepted at a lower pay rate Previous MedStar employees must have been separated for at least one year before returning as a traveler First-time travelers are not eligible; prior travel assignment experience is required
