About this role
Major function
Provide professional nursing care through the nursing process. Meet the needs of the patient, family, and multidisciplinary team through communication, coordination, and evaluation. Comply with all policies and procedures, nursing standards of practice and regulatory bodies.

Experience
You must be enrolled in a BSN or MSN program from an accredited school of professional nursing within six months of hire or rehire and graduate on or before the third employment anniversary date into a nursing position. * BSN or MSN graduates preferred
*Grandfathered Exemption of Educational Requirement
Hired on or before May 31, 2013 - IMC Hired on or before August 4, 2015 – IMCW Hired on or before May 31, 2023 – IMCM Medical Surgical nursing experience preferred. One-year clinical experience in specialty area required for per diem positions, two years preferred.
Certification/
Licensure
Current licensure with New Jersey State Board of Nursing as required by law. American Heart Association BLS required. American Heart Association ACLS required within 6 months of hire. Critical Care Course required within 6 months of hire. Dysrhythmia course required within 3 months of hire. National Certification in area of specialty preferred.
