All new hire registered nurses at Regions Hospital will be automatically enrolled. Our award-winning programs give our patients and their families a place of comfort and healing.

We are proud of the care we give each and every patient. Our state-of-the-art Birth Center was built in 2020. Our Level 2 NICU features 7 private rooms including 1 twin room for a total of 8 beds, each with an adjoining family space and bathroom to keep families connected.

Regions Hospital is one of the few hospitals in the country to feature the Enhanced Couplet Care model. 5 of our Postpartum rooms are outfitted with a full NICU headwall, allowing a subset of our NICU babies to stay in the Postpartum room with their families and avoid separation. This evidence-based model of care provides many benefits including improved weight gain, more effective feedings, and fewer hospital readmissions.

The Birth Center at Regions has approximately 2800 births annually with 15-20% of babies requiring some amount of NICU-level care. We are dedicated to diversity and inclusion, with 60% of our patient population being people of color, and 25% requiring interpreters for their care.
