We are seeking a skilled, compassionate, and motivated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our fast-paced Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated nursing professional looking to grow both personally and professionally while delivering exceptional patient care in a collaborative surgical setting.

Qualifications
- Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) License – Required
- BLS Certification – Required
- ACLS Certification – Preferred (can be provided after hire)
- ASC, OR, PACU, or Pre-Op experience preferred
- New graduates welcome to apply
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced clinical setting
- Basic computer proficiency required
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
Key Responsibilities
- Assess patient condition upon admission and continuously monitor status throughout pre-op, intra-op, and post-op care
- Conduct pre-operative nursing assessments and patient interviews
- Prepare patients for surgical procedures, including surgical site preparation and IV access
- Communicate patient conditions and pertinent information effectively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and clinical staff
- Provide patient advocacy and ensure continuity of safe, high-quality care
- Assist with circulating and scrubbing duties as needed (training provided)
- Monitor post-operative recovery, including level of consciousness, airway protection, and vital signs
- Provide reassurance, comfort, and education to patients and family members
- Collaborate with surgeons and anesthesiologists regarding patient discharge readiness
- Accurately document patient care throughout the surgical process
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized clinical environment
Experience Preferred
- Operating Room (OR)
- PACU (Post-Anesthesia Care Unit)
- Pre-Op Nursing
- ASC experience strongly preferred

Schedule
Full-Time Position
- Typical Start Time: Mon-Thur 8:30 AM / Fridays (10AM)
- Typical End Time: Varies based on surgical schedule (typically between 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM)
