Department 36709 Atrium Health Behavioral Health: Davidson - Nursing Behavioral Health I/P: Mountain Laurel Status Part time Benefits Eligible No Hours Per Week 0 Schedule Details/Additional Information Hours: job requires 36 hours in a 6 week schedule 7am to 7pm Pay Range $38.20 - $57.30 Where You Will Work The Mountain Laurel unit at Behavioral Health Davidson is a 22‑bed adult inpatient psychiatric unit serving individuals with mood disorders, psychosis, and dual diagnoses involving both psychiatric conditions and alcohol and/or substance use disorders. The unit is supported by a comprehensive multidisciplinary team that includes physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nurses, psychiatric technicians, social workers, recreational and occupational therapists, spiritual care providers, and peer support specialists. Care on the unit is grounded in a patient‑centered practice model and incorporates trauma‑informed care principles throughout all patient interactions and treatment approaches. We’re Looking For Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association At least 1 year of Behavioral Health Experience is preferred. Baccalaureate degree preferred What You’ll Do As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
