The Revenue Utilization Review (RUR) Registered Nurse (RN) is an active member of the revenue cycle program within the Consolidated Patient Accounts Center (CPAC). Responsibilities include serving as a patient advocate, ensuring compliance with third-party payer criteria, conducting precertification, managing clinical denials, performing legal case relatedness review, providing education to VA medical facility providers, collaborating with CPAC and VA medical facility staff, collecting and analyzing data, and participating on committees and workgroups.
