The system is a nonprofit headquartered here, with five acute-care hospitals plus a children’s hospital, and a multi-year campus expansion (garage, specialty building, west pavilion, children’s phases) already cleared by the town. If you are new to practice, the Hire Learning Residency is the front door: ANCC PTAP-accredited, with Morristown the first acute-care program in New Jersey to earn that recognition, and sites at Chilton, Morristown, Newton, and Overlook. You get a customized orientation, then work with RNs and nurse educators, including Full Circle observational shadowing; continuing education, a nursing externship, and an Advance Practice Nurse Fellowship sit alongside it.
