Florida Sheriffs Youth Ranches

Headquartered in Live Oak, Florida, FSYR operates a statewide network of four residential campuses, two summer camping locations, and youth outreach programs serving at-risk youth across Florida. Since its founding with just $5,000, the organization has grown to help more than 177,000 children and families. This is not a hospital or traditional clinical environment; rather, the nurse serves as the primary healthcare coordinator for youth residing on campus, working directly under the Program Director. The position requires a Florida RN license, and previous experience working with youth is preferred. The role also includes supervising a Transport Coordinator where applicable.
