The work is the floor list you already know if you have done LTC: ADLs, lifts and transfers, dining and supplements, weights, skin tracking, and toileting. They will not train you from zero. You need to be a state-certified CNA in good standing, with a high-school diploma or equivalent, current CPR/BLS, a clean discipline record, and at least one year of long-term care CNA experience. The building also keeps a business office for billing, accounts receivable and payable, patient trust, liability notices, and bed-hold procedures, and that side of the house is expected to know skilled nursing regulations and LTC guidelines.
