Key
Responsibilities
Direct medical care of oncology/hematology patients in inpatient and/or outpatient settings, including initial history, physical exams, follow-up, and emergent visits. Provide screenings, determine treatment plans, and assess the need for hospital admission or further care. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive cancer treatment. Educate patients on diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment options. Maintain accurate and timely documentation. Prescribe medications and recommend treatments within the scope of practice. Act as a resource and role model for staff.

Responsibilities
Write chemotherapy orders. Manage off-site treatment patients. Participate in the customization of electronic medical records. Complete compliance documentation, billing, and medical necessity forms. Stay up to date with oncology research and participate in clinical projects. Engage in community outreach and health promotion initiatives.
Requirements
Nurse Practitioner (NP)
- Current NP Licensure and registration in PA
- Master’s Degree in Nursing
- CPR Certification
Physician Assistant (PA)
- Current PA Licensure under the PA State Board of Medicine
- Certification through NCCPA
- Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies
- CPR Certification
