About this role
We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide direct nursing care and supervise certified nursing assistants in a healthcare facility.
Key responsibilities include overseeing daily activities of nursing staff, ensuring compliance with regulations and policies, participating in resident admissions, discharges, and transfers, assessing resident condition changes, transcribing physician orders, administering medications, performing wound care, scheduling appointments, and providing direct care skills such as IV administration and wound treatment.
The role involves leading nursing teams, collaborating with interdisciplinary staff, ensuring infection control, maintaining supplies, updating care plans, and participating in quality improvement activities.
Qualifications include a nursing degree from an accredited institution, an active unrestricted RN license, and at least one year of clinical experience, preferably in geriatrics.
