About this role
Red Stick Pediatrics is hiring a full time nurse to deliver, manage and coordinate care for patients in a primary care clinic setting. This position is responsible for assisting our PCP providers, nurses, and other clinical staff in delivering direct patient care to patients and families. The ideal candidate is compassionate, solution-oriented, and dedicated to providing quality care to our pediatric patients.
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examination, record vitals and history
- Collaborate with providers and other staff when examining or treating patients
- Prepare and administer medication, vaccinations, and other treatments per providers orders
- Collect and prepare specimens for routine CLIA waived tests, log results electronically in patient chart

- Provide education to patients and families regarding treatment and medication instructions
- Perform other related duties as assigned

- Completion of accredited nursing program with an active Louisiana LPN or RN license
- Minimum of one year experience providing care in a clinical environment; Pediatric experience preferred
Hours: This full time position is expected to average 40 hours per week. Applicant may be asked to work one rotating Saturday morning (8am-12pm) shift bi-monthly, as needed. Shift diff is payable for Saturday hours.
Job Type: Full-time Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour
