Carney’s Family Clinic is seeking an seasoned Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Primary Care team.

Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

We are looking for a dependable, detail-oriented, and compassionate LPN who is comfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-provider primary care practice. The ideal candidate will demonstrate professionalism, strong communication skills, reliable attendance, and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care. Our clinic serves patients ages 2 and older.

Primary responsibilities include

Collect, track, and maintain patient history; record any new data Take vitals, including blood pressure, heart rate, temperature, etc.

Document in the EHR, e-prescribe as appropriate, administer medications and injections, and monitor medication doses

Prepare lab orders and specimens, and complete accurate data entry in the EHR Provide emotional support to patients and patients’ families; listen to concerns and feedback

Take direction from and report updates to the Nurse Practitioner and overseeing physician Report any unusual or drastic changes in patient behavior/symptoms; seek help from superiors when needed

Ensure exam rooms are clean, sterile, organized, and properly stocked Follow state and federal mandated standards and procedures

Requirements and

qualifications

Completed state-approved LPN education program; current LPN license to practice Valid CPR certification Previous clinical and/or healthcare experience.

Experience with EHR systems and thorough, accurate data entry Understanding of healthcare state standards and procedures

High level of patience, empathy and compassion Excellent observation skills with high attention to detail Excellent oral and written communication skills
