About this role
Saint Luke’s Hospital of Kansas City is currently seeking a highly motivated registered nurse to join our team at Saint Luke’s Hospital Liver Biliary & Pancreatic Center.
This clinic supports Hepatology, HPB surgery and GI specialties . As an RN on this team, you will be responsible for working to provide professional nursing care for clinic patients following established standards and practices

The Work
Collects information from patient callers to assess their condition Schedules emergent need patient appointments Identifies learning needs for patients and families, provide advice and recommendations over the phone Consults physicians about patient care needs Delegates tasks to clinical staff in accordance with demonstrated competencies and consideration to Scope of Practice Subject matter expert for patient education, assessment, interpretation, and documentation of patient care and testing Enters admission orders as directed by provider
We are looking for patient centered nurses who are committed to providing a high quality of care. This team is seeking nursing professionals who are compassionate, hard-working, and team focused. To be successful in this role you will need to be self-motivated and detail oriented. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a team atmosphere as well as autonomously. Excellent customer service and communication skills, with a professional demeanor is required at all times. May be responsible for covering Medical Assistant job duties, LPN job duties, or other office duties as needed.
