About this role
Full-time Registered Nurse position in the Medical ICU (MICU) at Texoma Medical Center, a 414-bed acute care facility in Denison, TX. Provides safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy. Offers professional leadership and support to the healthcare team using Patient Centered Care concepts. Requires current Texas nursing license or compact license, one year full time or three years part time experience in acute care ICU setting, and RQI BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications. Part of Universal Health Services (UHS) network with opportunities for career advancement through Charge, Supervisor and Nurse Manager-in-training programs.

- Current Texas nursing license or compact license. One year full time or three years part time experience in acute care ICU setting. RQI BLS, ACLS and PALS required. BLS (Basic Life Support) Healthcare Provider course according to RQI program guidelines and all required Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC) Healthcare Provider courses will be provided during new hire orientation or upon transfer, and must be completed prior to working in a clinical setting. See additional department proficiency requirements above. Must successfully pass any pre-employment assessment(s) required by the facility. Must be able to identify and competently address needs of populations served.
